Interior Color Option: Black or Silver Extended Leather with Jerez Black
Hey everyone, I know you've seen this one before but just want to get your opinion. I've been going back and forth for weeks so please help me with my decision.
I have a couple more weeks before my coupe goes into status 112. So I need help in making a decision for my interior color. I love the extended leather look so standard leather won't be an option. Right now I have Jerez black with Black extended leather or should I go with Jerez black with Silver extended leather Now both have their pros and cons: Black: conservative looking but classy and easier to maintain Silver: nice contrast but looks pretty light from the pics I've seen and harder to maintain Now as I get older in life (35 yrs old) and planning to hold on to the car for atleast a few years what will look better and hold it's resale value better. Thanks in advance |

Way too much black with the Extended leather and the Jerez black color IMO ( even though it has some blue in it). I would go with the Silver especially if you plan on taking care of the car.

Then again there are so many "Want to Buy" threads in the M3Forum for sale section that specify "no gray interior". Some poor guy had his Silver on Grey M3 for sale for 6-8 months at a great price. It was sad. YMMV. I'd stick with black, not that I think Silver would look bad.

KKSigua , i ve the same problem.
i think the silver will look pretty boring. black is conservative, but very elegant. i ´m considering between black, silver and foxred... *hrhr* just bambos is out allready. I thin foxred is close to be booted out too ( it´s all but conservative...). |

Black. I had grey leather on my E46 and a lot of different fabrics bleed on to it. Granted the leather on the E92 M3 is likely a better stronger leather, but after about 2-3 years of pants/jeans wearing, I began to see a lot of wear around the sides of the seats where you hips/@ss are.
Plus black on black just looks so damn sexy

Grey or silver leather gets dirty very quick and shows stains right away.
i recommend black or fox red.
