Just had my first road rage incident in my M4
Was going on ramp with two lanes. A Kia sedan entered the right side and I went to the left. I sped up and got there first by a few cars lengths before he did. As I was merging into freeway traffic he cut off the guy on the next lane sped up, got into my lane, and started brake checking me. I tried switching lanes and he just kept getting in front of me and brake checking me. He eventually sped up and left. Sorry I had to vent... I'm high on adrenaline right now.

You made the right choice to just play it cool. Kia driver may not care about damaging his car either. Let him have his "glory".

You drive an M4, he drives a Kia. You already won! Feel sorry for him, not anger.

When driving a "big boy" car, one must diffuse the situation. Well done for not fighting the lunatic.

Drive your car like you don't give f**k about it when someone tries squeezing you like that and you'll see them back off real quick. Another tip. I always keep quarters in my car (for meters and what not) and people tend to not act as tough anymore when they're car is getting pegged with coins

the fact is that some people like that are just plain crazy. For all we know the guy might be high. Might have a knife or a gun. Or will just get out of his car and start kicking your car.
just play it cool. If you're driving an M you probably don't have time to waste with people like that or worse risk you well being. From my experience people with the crapiest cars can be the most dangerous. If you see a speeding rusted minivan (or a kia), get out of the way and don't infuriate them. The dudes driving these things are like lions that have been locked up too long. they can go crazy on you at anytime. |

Move out of California
I know here in Florida 80 out of 100 vehicles have at least one gun in them and people tend to be a little more respectful. Not saying there is not the occasional mistake or middle finger but most people who understand the gun laws would think twice about using there vehicle as a threat to your well being.

99 out of 100 here in Arizona. Don't recommend "brandishing" anything though, that's an aggravated assault felony in most jurisdictions.
The only time you should be pulling a gun out in public is if you're going to be pulling the trigger. Btw sig 229 in .40 for me

A similar thing happened to me a while back. This is a perfect example the need of my idea>>> imagine a printed graphics (like the Finger) on the retractable rear shades...
