Parts in Trunk After Pickup
I picked up my M3 on Saturday and when I opened the trunk there was a box of what look like wheel bolts. I'm pretty sure they are wheel locks, but do these normally come with the car or were they mistakenly left in my trunk?

Yes, they are wheel bolts, your wheel bolts, one from each wheel. Look closely at your wheels and you'll find that one of the bolts has a inner spline that matches the spline key. That spot that you circled in your "tool box" is where the spline key goes (see the little wheel bolt outline in the plastic?) Make sure that you leave this in the car because if you get a flat, the tire shop will need this to get the wheel off your car.
Edited to add: This is what a BMW toolbox looks like with the blanks "filled in". From my wife's 2011 335is Coupe. Notice the splined key for the wheel locks:
