FS: Oem modified e92 M3 exhaust

I have just upgraded my M3 e92 exhaust to Dave Dee's M3 full stainless system. Very meaty and beastie sounding.

Anyway, I have a modified rear section where the perforated pipes in the rear section had been cut out and re-welded with solid pipes to provide a louder and deeper than standard note.

See this video for an example:

If you're interested, happy to sell rear section for $600.

I used to run the 2 pipe mod and it sounded great. This is a good buy for anyone that wants to keep their stock muffler mint for resale.

What do you think of the upgrade to Daves system?

I'm still getting use to new sound and performance (had stage 2 BPM tune) . Miles behind the wheel will certainly put a bigger smile on my face.

I wish I did the BPM. I went with Evolve because they did the overrun thing but it has never worked properly and the car runs like sh*t with it installed

Why don't you contact evolve and get them to send you another map with overrun burble disabled?

I've had Evolve tunes on my e46 and E92. Ran fine both times and customer service was great.

They must have trouble with the e92 tunes. I had a non burble tune supplied and still had problems. They ended up blaming my exhaust which is just test pipes and high flow secondaries. I'll go BPM when I SC. I really couldn't recommend evolve.

When you do go down the SC path all tuning files are included with the hardware. (If you choose the Harrop SC) BPM is major contributor to the tuning files. Sorry to hear you are having issues Rob, I believe you are running a stock Xpipe with high flow cats. Your exhaust system should not affect any tuning unless there's a serious flow issue which is unlikely.

What issues are you having with the tune? Did you check the plugs and coil packs? A suspect plug will cause problems, when fitting a SC plugs should be changed as a part of the install unless they have few Ks.
