ZCP is Sick

Stopped by BMW of Dallas and saw this white Comp Pack in the showroom, fully loaded and with MPE, no CCBs. Looks utterly amazing.

Wheels- The satan wheels absolutely work. They give the car presence and look very sporty. The release of the GTS in that horrid orange set a bad tone for the wheels. But I now love them.

Seats- They feel a little more "buckety". The side bolsters look bigger because of the holes but also "feel" bigger when sitting in them, they seem to wrap around my torso a bit more for support, no lateral movement at all, the bottom is the same. The lack of lumbar support is a deal breaker for me, as the lower back feels slightly more rounded, on long 3+ hour trips(or more) I can see them being uncomfy and shoving pillows back there.

Overall, the car looks really amazing and the pops and burbles the new tuning has is what the car should be from the factory, shame on BMW for not making this the standard tuning. If you're in the market for an M, I can't see a reason not to go ZCP. The car is a definite improvement.
The only trade offs for me are the seats and possible bumpier ride on the 20s, but this is unconfirmed.

Before yesterday, I hated both the GTS orange accented wheels and the Comp pack wheels. After seeing both up close and in real life at the BMW VDC port tour, I can say that the orange GTS wheels actually work well with frozen grey paint and other GTS parts, and actually don't look so bad.

The comp pack wheels, on the other hand, still don't do it for me. I'd skip it.

The wheels at least look better there than in some of the other pics I've seen, but still look like a ricer aftermarket wheel.

love it. there is a ZCP alpine white at my dealer... i am very tempted to jump on it after seeing this rather then wait 7 weeks for my Azurite Black ZCP with perf parts.

Just as an observation, the seats on my CP are very confortable even on long rides. Thought they would be a problem at the beginning but not so at all.

THIS! The comp pack wheels on normal F8X cars look like trash to me. The BSM waiting for paint didn't look too bad but the rest of the cars on the tour did not look good AT ALL. I kept shaking my head the entire tour.

It's funny how the more we get inundated with pics of these wheels, the more (some) people grow to like them. I'm in this camp. I now think they're really unique. I'd like a gunmetal finish, though.
