Unknown (to me) OBC dashboard symbol

There is a symbol that comes up when I push button 1 up on the directional lever. The symbol is a + sign with an arrow pointing down at it and tic marks from the 12 o'clock to 3 o'clock positions. There is a "set" option with on or off as choices. I can't figure out what this is. Anybody know?

The car is a 2013 E92 M3 ZCP DCT.

Yes! That's the symbol. So it's shift lights then.
