DCT GTS software issues - shift delay and shift lights acting up?

I just did the GTS DCT software flash a couple weekends ago and I'm having a couple issues.

1. It was great at first. A 100% improvement. but today all of a sudden I noticed a huge delay when up shifting with either paddles or shift lever. didn't matter if in S1 or S5. When I pulled the lever the car waited nearly a second to shift though the shifts were still super fast. downshifting was normal.

2. My shift lights won't stay on. this issue may be due to some module coding I did the same day but when you turn them on via the windshield washer stalk they work fine but when you turn the car off it resets back to OFF. they always worked fine for me.

any input on either of the above?

I'd try reloading the GTS DCT software.

You did the flash yourself?

Alex @ Alpine did mine and I have zero issues and its much cheaper than what you'll pay from other companies

I've been running Alex's software for over a year now with no issues. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Yes I did, with Winkpf. The flash worked perfect for a couple weeks (with the exception of the shift lights, but that may be a result of other coding I did). Not sure why it would all of a sudden give a 1 second delay on up shifts.

I couldn't tell you man. I'm no coding guru.

I would bet Alex could help you out though. He's super cool and has been super helpful for all of my coding needs and even other parts for my M.

Yup. Had my DCT flashed with Alex at Alpine, too. It has been great without any issues.

Delay could be a mechanical issue as well that coincided with your GTS flash.

If it's in D, do you still have that upshift delay?

Do not mean to thread jack but what is the difference between regular DCT and DCT GTS? 0.00001 milliseconds faster that no one can really feel?

This happens to me on occasion both with the GTS software and the US version. Switch it into D, let it shift, then back and all is restored. Not sure what causes it.

10-20ms
Defaults car to D2 when starting
Saves your last S mode setting
Kills R to D delay
Less "clank"
No traction going into 2nd or 3rd gear in S6.
