Drove an M3 Today

So my friend at work let me take her 2016 M3 out for 20 minutes and wow. My 335i is new for me and I'm still having fun in it, but lacks some of the SOTP power I was used to in my C5. The M3 sounded amazing and stuck you to the back of the seat like it should when it was floored.

It also handled and drove really well. I thought it might be a bit rougher of a ride, but nothing that I noticed. May have to figure out a way to get into one in a couple years

The 335 or now 340 is an awesome car. The M car needs a few hours of seat time to be fully understood and appreciated, but after a week or two with the car you will never be satisfied driving anything else. Well, almost anything else... a few supercars costing 2, 3, or 4 times the price excluded.

Time to move out of the "friend zone" so you can drive the M more often.

Y'all, it's a "friend at work"; he can't hit that.

I guess that explains the two year time horizon. One of them will possibly leave the employer in that time and be free to mate/date.

Yeah. You're toast. The seed has been planted. I drove 335's for a bunch of years and they were all great cars. Loved 'em. But the M3/M4 is a completely different animal. Having been in an M4 for a while now, I can't think of a single thing that I miss about the 335.

Except maybe the run flat tires. There were just awesome...(kidding of course).

Awesome how this has created the Days of our Lives Bimmerpost edition, LOL.

I was debating on running with the story line, but with my luck my wife would open the browser and get pissed. Also a decent chance her husband is on the board and doesn't know I drove his car, LOL.

BTW the satellite view in the backup cam is also pretty sick! Forgot to mention that earlier.
