M3 paint comparison images: Mineral Grey vs Singapore Grey vs Black Sapphire Metallic

Hi all

I was finally able to get some photos of my Singapore Grey M3 beside Mineral Grey and Black Sapphire Metallic M3/4s, at the most recent BMW CCA cars and coffee in Boston.

I hope people find this useful, because I know I was looking for just this information when deciding if I should do an individual Singapore grey. Also, it helps put the color in perspective in relation to the remainder of the lineup.

Thankfully, we had beautiful sunny skies which helped accentuate the differences. I imagine the shades would be much closer together on a cloudy day. In addition, SG has a purple shade that comes out when the light hits the car just right, which doesn't come through in these pictures. If anything, the MG M4 looks like it has more of a warmer hue here.

Here are 2 images of the fronts of the cars, (left to right obviously) BSM, SG, MG:

Here are images of the rears of the cars, (left to right again) MG, SG, BSM

Now specifically, when I was ordering my car, I was most curious how Mineral Grey and Singapore Grey would look side by side, so the next several shots are just with the Mineral Grey car:

All the colors looked great in person, so it's just a matter of preference. Again, thanks to you all for bringing your cars so that we can get this pictures. Hopefully, someone will find them useful :P

Nice meeting everyone! Owner of the BSM car. I can 100% agree that all the cars looked killer. Singapore Grey is definitely a special color

Is the Singapore noticably darker compared to the mineral?

I think the photos are pretty representative in that it is most definitely darker especially when you park them side by side. Its probably closer to a "soft" black than mineral grey.
