Question Does anyone have Pure Metal Silver?

Found this interesting post about Pure Metal Silver. The video is pretty cool. I wonder where you go to see all the different paint colors.

Does anyone have it? Is it available for F80/F82?

An M3/M4 would look awesome in that color. Says my imagination.

Believe Dingolfing is the only plant that can do pure metal silver. So no M3

Look on the M5 forum where there are a couple owners with that color.

Pictures do not do it justice.

I've seen Lexus with a similar silver color, not sure what they call it but it looks fantastic, if BMW pure silver is even close that would be really beautiful on the M production line but at a 10k premium - probably not so much, though I reserve final judgement untill I see it in person.

Have you seen it in person? If so, what are you not liking (given you have silverstone)?

Why is the only silver offered for the M3/M4, without going individual, Silverstone II?

I understand some people really like Silverstone II, but there's a bit too much light blue IMO.

Would have chosen silver if a more pure silver was offered, both for contrast to the carbon fiber and ease of maintenance.

Yeah, they pulled Moonstone, which is a great option if you want a different silver and Jubilee silver is great too. Don't really know why there are so few colors but AMG is doing this too. I'd consider pure metal if they offered it.

I have always liked Porsche GT Silver Metallic but I wouldn't pay BMW whatever it would take to get it on a BMW.

I wonder about that ... course I have no clue but I thought that about moonstone as it's notoriously hard to match but they did a great job with my bumper.

Dont get me wrong I've always had silver cars and I love silver. But not a fan of that price tag, its not worth it to me.... That silver tone hue on that car looks far too plain and too warm for my taste... I personally love SS2 because of the slight bluish undertone... gives it a bit more of a personality imo.
