Track Days 2017

By now you'll be sick of me preaching the benefits of a track day to really appreciate what you have beneath.

The guys that run the Burrows Days at Sydney Motorsport Park have released the calendar for 2017 so I'm thinking we pick a date and try and have a get together at Australia's Premier Motorsport park.

Any takers??

Maybe one the the guys who's car sits at home and is only driven to the car park for photos can lend you theirs! When the engineers in Munich where designing and building our cars, photo shoots was a high customer priority they needed to satisfy......

I for one totally agree with you.
///M stands for "Motorsport" and so if you buy any M car, it should be used for what it is built for....on the racetrack. Nothing worst than locking it up in a shed like a garage queen like it's an endangered black horn rhino.

Mate I think Luke gave you my spot. I've gotta go OS for work so I'll be relegated to iRacing for my track day fix over Xmas.

But when you do get to the track, post some videos. Love seeing video's of our cars at SMSP.

Thats a shame

There were obviously a few late withdrawals as 2 other waitlisted mates of mine got in also.

I don't have a go pro or in-car mounted camera yet but ill take some happy snaps on the day and upload later

Download Harry's lap time app and go and get a good phone holder, even better if you can get a OBDII bT dongle!

I have the Aim Solo DL and like it quite a bit - you can see it in the shot below to the right of my wheel.

But the HLT App is very affordable and probably a good option to get your toe in the water of track day videos.

Personally, I like 1st person video. It looks like it's straight out of iRacing!
But then again, my car normally goes out with around 6 cameras.....

I just tried connecting to my Carly OBD2 dongle via harrys laptimer and it was selectable within the app so i guess i can use it. Will try next week and see how it goes
