Carly App - used car check

Just wondering if anybody has run this function yet? I ran it this morning on my car and "manipulation" was detected as the app says that an average lifetime km/h reading average value should be somewhere between 30-50 km/h and that values under 20 km/h almost certainly mean manipulation. My car came in at 19.8 km/h.

They calculate this by dividing your total km by the total hours of usage as scanned by the carly diagnostic tool. I find it hard to believe my car has had any manipulation given i am the second owner plus the car has full BMW service history and i had everything checked out. Am not concerned particularly given the above but was wondering if anyone else has experienced similar?

Do you sit in traffic a lot?
I wouldn't worry about it, I doubt someone has rolled back the clock on your car.

Hi mate, thanks for the reply. Yes i do sit in traffic, A LOT! Standard sydney peak hour Not to mention the car had a period between when the previous owner disposed of it and i bought it from a dealer where it only did about 2,000km in a year so its had very light usage over the past 2 years. It had 44,000km on it when i bought it in June. It has 49km now.

Im not concerned about it, as everything checks out but was just interested if anyone here had experienced similar.

That feature is brand new for e series cars.
I'll have a look on mine and see what it says.
