Wind noise cruising at higher speeds?
Three weeks into my '13 E92 ownership, I finally got in some extended high speed highway cruising. Going at 80 mph (125+ km), I can't really hear any noises. However, once I get up to 100+ mph (160+ km), I can very vaguely hear the wind noise from top of the closed window, on driver's side where it meets the door. If I put my hand there, I cannot physically feel any wind coming in (maybe I can imagine feeling it, idk), but I swear there is a faint sound like wind is leaking in from top of the window.
I did some searching online and in the forums. Most complaints have come from non - M3 BMW models, and there isn't any consistent "fixes", from the dealership or otherwise. Am I being crazy or have you also noticed this? I guess it could be just physics, since the coupe has frameless windows, but I also wanna complain to the dealership while I still have warranty, and see if they can replace the seal or whatever other parts that might be at play. My car is at 16xxx miles, so I doubt the parts are worn, but I can't think of any other reason. I've also heard of having the dealership adjust the window to increase the force with which the window is pressed against the door, which could also help. |

For starters I ordered some nextzett 'Gummi Pflege Stift' Rubber Care that I've come across in the forums. Will report results. Amazon link below.

I have the same issue here on my 08 E92, have yet to find a solution. I haven't tried the Gummi Pflege yet so if you get good results I might give that a go.
