So the other night I was driving my wife's 335i m sport which is catless and sounds amazing!!! a 240 pulled up and asked if I wanted to run, I said "nahhhh going to the interstate on the way home and he replied same!" So we both were heading to the interstate in Mexico of course, and I know this is stupid but we did an 80 roll and I got the hit and he started pulling and pulling I was going maybe 115 and as for him who knows he had to slow down due to a car being ahead of him! He maybe had a car length before slowing down. I was very very surprised with the outcome! Now my question is would this have been a different story if I was in my m3 which is completely stock? This was a one take, so sorry if this isn't the best explained!

Talk your wife into a roll race from 80mph with her driving the 335 and you driving the m3. I'm betting that by the time she hits 115, you'll have a lot more than 1 car length on her.

It definitely does. I came from a fbo 335 with a pure stage 2 and i'm still not convinced that it would have taken my M3. Those things are missiles on the freeway and I'd be willing to bet that it would take a mildly modded 335 by multiple car lengths at those speeds.

Yeah that would be my guess if all he had was a car length on you from 80-115 in the 335.

Whenever I see a fixed up 240 I give pause. You never know what's in those things. They could be putting down serious power.
