What color bbk on a jerez blk m3?

Like the title states I'm looking to do stoptech trophies on my e90.. What color do you guys suggest? Leave the silver color that comes with them? Or I'm thinking yellow?? Any pics would be great!!!!!

What color are your wheels? I'm leaning towards yellow. Or if you think yellow will be too bright you can go for a bronze like the GTR's BBK.

I'm thinking yellow but like a little darkish yellow like darkar yellow? Or maybe a darker red? The stock silver is nice but doesn't cut it.. plus my seats are fox red so I feel like any color other than red might throw it off?

I have a Jerez Black on Black E90 M3 with STR60/STR40's; I felt leaving the stock silver annodized color was best. Granted, I will have them under Diamond Black TE37 Ultra's and not Silver HRE's. I still think I'd stick with the stock trophy annodization even with your wheels though, which look awesome btw!

Personally, I would specifically NOT go with red because you have a fox red interior. Reason being is that fox red tends to have a significantly more brownish hue than the kind of red most people use for calipers. That being said, red on black always looks good imo, so you really can't go wrong if that is what appeals to you.

Also consider that if you paint or powdercoat over your annodized Trophy finish, you're kind of nullifying half the point of getting a trophy kit vs a non trophy kit since the only advantages of a trophy kiy over the regular ST kits are: annodized vs painted finish, slightly lighter, slightly different piston sizing (don't even know if this is an advantage, as I'm sure they both provide the same ratios and brake bias since they are both made for the same application).

I'm running yellow BBK's with Fox Red interior, I think it looks great. I have Alpine white however. Still think you can't go wrong with yellow!

If you have the trophy kit, leave the silver. If you have the ST60/ST40, paint them Porsche Speed Yellow.

StopTech sells it in yellow as a special order item, I believe.

No, the regular ST40/ST60. I can't remember who sells yellow and blue as special order -- maybe Turner? I know I've seen it.

Yea I think that objectively, the trophy kit has a cooler looking caliper with the hardware you can see on it. Additionally I prefer the silver aluminum rotor hats on the trophy kit as opposed to black hats on the ST60-ST40. The black ones look like they heat fade and turn a weird purple-ish brown color.

I do not have a BBK yet because I'm not going to spend 8k for a new set on a car that's now worth 43k. Constantly hunting for a well taken care of set of AP-Racing 5000r series or Brembo GT 380 or Trophy. I think I'd probably spring for yellow or silver but definitely not blue since all the current BMWs have blue calipers and it took away the allure of that color for me.

Yea we are deaf I the same boat not looking to drop that kind of dough.. Someone mentioned red bbk on Jerez idk? It might go well.. I have a good offer on a new set of st trophies so debating what to do? Or just wait for a used set... I pmed you btw
