M3/M4 related Gifts You Were Not Expecting

It is one thing when you go about your days working, and decide to spend a large sum of your hard earned money into a car, in my case, the 2016 M3. It is a whole new level of joy when you get gifts to add to a car you are passionate about that the giver might not be as passionate as you.

Recently, on my birthday my lovely Bride and two Boyz got me a Carbon Fiber wing and gear shift lever for my F80. I was beyond elated and surprised as any young child would be when getting one of their favorite toys they wished extremely hard for as a gift.

What gifts have you received from someone else for your M3/M4???

My wife considers anything I spend on my M4 as a gift!

The last thing on my mod list was the M Performance Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser. I have the CF rear spoiler, all the CF interior bits, the MPE with CF tips, and this was the last thing that would make my car look like the M4 Concept Car from 2013. I search for pricing every now and then and when I found it at a considerably lower price than anywhere else, I made an executive decision and purchased it without consulting her. She said "Happy Anniversary Dear!"

I should mention that this is not my hard-earned money, as I'm retired, she's a lot younger, makes almost three times what I did when I was working, and brings in about 90% of our income.

I got "I think it's a complete waste of money" from someone who is not my wife, fiancée or girlfriend. But given we don't have sex, and I put up with that shit, she's like a wife.

I got a remote control E92 M3 for Christmas from the War Dept. It works! But mostly it sits on my shelf and looks cool. I also got a bunch of detailing supplies... clay, sealant, also some leather care... etc. Wife is good wife.

I have a friend who used to have an E90 M3. His friends had t-shirts printed up with a BMW roundel logo, his picture in the lower right quadrant, and printed underneath: "NoFriendsNoCareIHaveAM3".

Yeah, I know, that bugged me too! I didn't design the t-shirt!

I found a picture of his Mom wearing the t-shirt, edited to protect the innocent (and guilty). The slogan was a fake URL, www.nofriendsnocareihaveam3.comic.

Picking the car up in Germany and my wife letting me drive it the entire time. I offered, but she knew it would have been like being told on Christmas morning that you had to share the gift you just got with your little sister who was going to do nothing but drool all over it.
