Should I wait for M-DCT or just buy the 6 at the dealership

They have a Jerez black on black e90 at the dealership here in charlotte. Wondering if i should get that or wait for the M-DCT e90

I would try to maybe get a ride in at least an E46 M3 with SMG do give you an idea of the difference. I know a lot of us are buying MDCT on blind faith but SMG was what really sold me on it in the first place.

Look at all the cool people in the 6MT Club and then make up your mind.

Definitely wait. I think that it will be worth it. Don't rush into 6MT in an attempt to get your car faster.

6MT is more prevalent because it came out earlier. There haven't been too many DCT cars delivered, but I bet later on 6MT will path least taken.

I just took delivery of my e90 a couple days ago. The MT feels substantially better to me than the dealers launch car. The shifting is excellent, not rubbery as people have said. The clutch feel is definitely stiffer vs. the launch car. I would not change a thing. I'm sure DCT is fantastic but I'm really pleased with the MT. My previous car was an RS4 which had a stellar gearbox. The e90 is every bit as good and really feels more precise IMO.

well its a hard decision because the DCT looks amazing im truly a fan. But thinking if im going to miss having an extra pedal. and i have been waiting forever, getting a little impatient. I would get red with bamboo or white with foxred DCT if i waited. I have also been debating whether or not EDC is worth it any opinions?

If your a good driver get the 6MT if not get the paddles. I think 6mt is more challenging and harder to drive. You will feel your driving the car not the computer, with the smg I would feel I was really good but now that I have the 6mt you have to not make anymistake because it will cost you. 6MT all the way I love the challange

I may be deploying back overseas in the next couple weeks for an extended period, so my loaded Jerez coupe may go on the block. Should be here tomorrow. I am faced with a dilemma, pay about 6-700 a month in interest, insurance, and depreciation or sell and order MY 2009,2010...let me know if you are interested. I will prob sell my DCT coupe at 2500 under...I need to give it some thought.

Was this at Hendrick? I thought all the ones they had on their lot were either demos or sold already. But I say you can't go wrong with either.
