I know he won't accept that so wheel and deal? I know, just walk away but curiosity has gotten the best of me. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you all.
Look at where it was serviced on the report. If indeed the car was in for lots of service then it is a lemon, and then why bother?? To save 9k on an already low 27k price?
9k in savings can easily be spent chasing your first major problem, while you waste your time and your M3 appreciation dies.

Truly, find a non-lemon for normal/fair market price with lower miles. 89k Is alot, and the whole lemon thing makes this a highly unattractive prospect. Save a bit more and find a car exactly or almost exactly to your specifications. It seems tons of us are trying to get out of our M3s..But back to this..I'm curious as to what about this high milage lemon is so apealing to a buyer..it's not even that cheap. I would never even consider this thing. Jump on the classifieds in this forum and I think you will be able to find something better.

Major red flag. Is saving a few thousand bucks worth the risk, in addition to the abysmal resale value it will have if you do buy it and later sell it?
