Which one would YOU drive
My wife bought me a gift certificate for a Driving Experience (I really married up). We're all passionate about our cars so I would love to hear from the more experienced folks on here about the options, which would you choose?
We're all passionate about our cars so curious to know which is most similar to our M3's. |

I've driven a Gallardo (on the streets so different experience) but it was an experience I'll never forget. Tough choice but I think I would go with the Gallardo

if you're driving, 458 or Porsche (turbo s, gt3 or gt3rs). if you're riding along, I'd have to say indy car would be pretty killer to experience.

Don't bother with the supercars. Yes, they will feel faster than the M3, but Indycar is on an entirely different level. The NASCAR stuff would be neat, but again, Indycar is going to be better.

Indy car hands down. You could drive Lambos and Ferraris on the street but you can't drive an Indy car around town. Totally different type of experience and much more likely to be a "once in a lifetime" type event than driving some Italian car.
As far as which one is most similar to M3? You didn't say which Porsche but I'll assume a 911 type. That would be most similar (but not really, lol). I've got seat time in the R8, 458, and Gallardos and they're cool but nothing like an open cockpit Indy car. That would get me excited! Also.... AAA+++ wife rep. |

Indy car. When else will you have the opportunity to drive a car purpose built for the track?

my first choice would be the Indy car to feel the acceleration and g-forces and since the chances of ever driving one again would be zero - but at 6 foot 2 and 230 pounds, I doubt if I could squeeze into one

Easy decision...which one do you have no chance of driving on the street? Indy car all the way. 2nd choice would be the NASCAR, which I have done. No street car will compare to that experience...

There is definitely the option to actually drive an Indy car with a driver coach advising remote via headset.
Really appreciate all of the input here, I am going to drive the Indy car. Pretty sure the soonest availability is September and I will report back afterwards. |

Go with the Gallardo, we don't want you to kill yourself and it will be way more enjoyable than being a bundle of nerves the whole time.

Do the Indy car. I did a Barber school in an open wheel. It was a great experience. Absolutely incredible they way it handled. From this list open wheel is best experience.
