Diesel ban in many European cities, countries

To all,
I read a very interesting article in the Wall Street Journal yesterday. The fallout from the VW emission scandal.is taking it's toll. Cities all over Europe and banning older and some not so old diesels. The value of the so-called clean diesel might be severely diminished very soon.

I'm from Belgium, and some older diesel models are already banned in the large cities. I believe this goes into effect in 2018, where diesel that are 20 years or older won't be allowed in the cities centres anymore.
