is that wheel black?
you can try buffing the scratches with some rubbing or polishing compound. but if the scratches are through the paint, then not too much you can do. use a black sharpie marker to hide scratches...

It is horrifying to see what tools "professionals" will use when cleaning your car. In my experience it is very rare to find somebody who will do the job properly, which involves a clean sponge or a clean towel and a little elbow grease. At the end of the day they just want to get your car in and out as fast as they can so they will use the tool that best facilitates that, in most cases it is a brush of some kind and many resort to using it like a hammer to get into the small nooks quickly (and lazily).

If you can put ur nail in it then polishing it wont work. I would say just use some black marker or nail polish and get it done with it. Black is quite forgiving.

Yes, this can be corrected using a dual action polisher like Porter Cable, Harbor Freight, or Griot's Garage dual action polisher.

If you'd like to DIY there's starter kits online via Autogeek Online.

Or find a local detailer and get it done.

If you can catch the scratch with your nail, it has to be filled in with paint.

at a minimum, leave bad reviews online. or stand by road in front of their business with a sign. that'll make him react when business gets hurt.
they probably been using a worn out wheel brush with exposed metal. its sad to think how many other cars probably got scratched.

Doesn't matter if a brush is brand new, it should never be used to clean the exterior of a car. Unless of course you don't care about the car, which is why so many car washes use them, because they don't care about your car they only care about getting your money. They know that most people are too oblivious to even notice.

This is precisely why I am the only one who washes my cars. Most painted wheels have a clear coat on them. If you have experience or want to take the chance, you may be able to remove the scratch through polishing, or light wet sanding. Either has the chance to go through the clear coat, but you can apply another coat of clear over the entire wheel with a trim spray gun.

Worst case at least here in the States, a wheel can be refinished for about $150 and with a good refinish, you'll never know.

In the past we have buffed it a scratch out and it worked. If its deep you may need to repaint that area. Find out if there's a wheel guy in your area you can take it too. Would start around $50 on up... Good Luck
