DEAL: StopTech ST40 Front (Red) $1797 Shipped @ ECS

Steal of a deal.

StopTech ST40 BBK in red for $1797 shipped.

One of the best deals I've seen for this brand new from ECS.

https://www.ecstuning.com/b-stoptech...3.160.4c00.71/

Now, only if I could find that sort of pricing for a new rear kit in black...

That's a great deal! For users that are interested in upgrading to a 6pot Front setup for a larger brake pad sweep area and thermal capacity in the rotor instead of a 4 piston setup, please let us know. Increasing the sweep area and thermal capacity means longer consistent brake performance in motorsport use.

Our Saturn 6 piston's are a full bolt on ready to go E9X M3 solution that utilizes a 380mm front rotor setup. So effectively for similar pricing, we can increase the brake torque while maintaining the OEM brake balance and bias/OEM traction controls etc while also making better pedal modulation and feel.

God damn, that is a steal. Even when Turner was blowing them out in 2015, I paid like $2300 shipped.

Seriously!

Maybe there is a price drop due to the demand and age of the e92 generation now?

Lowest advertised price I've seen.

I'd attribute it more to the fact companies like sparta are able to put out a more than competitive product at a better price.

Our caliper bodies, pistons, and rotor hats are all cold forged and machined in our personally owned manufacturing facility located in South Korea, it is not a 3rd party manufacturer. This gives us the ability to have total control over our quality, what we send out and what we do not.

We hand assemble the calipers and rotors in our Redmond office outside of Seattle Washington. So we manufacture some of our components overseas but assemble everything in the states. Our hardware, brake lines, and rotors are all manufactured here in the USA.

Does the Sparta kit beat the ST40 price?

Our E9x M3 front kit is a 6 piston 380 x 34, and is only a fraction more expensive than the closeout price on the smaller StopTech 4 piston 355 x 35 front kit listed above. Plus you get to choose your color.

We decided to use a 6 piston and 380mm rotor because if you're buying a BBK, you're either doing it for the heat capacity or the looks, and a 380mm 6 piston kit checks both of those boxes better than a 4p 355mm kit. We also offer a rear 4 piston 355 x 32 for the E9x M3.

We cannot post pricing info in the tech forums, but I'll PM anyone who is interested!

Nailed it. The Sparta BBK is a great kit for the price.

It takes work to break into a market. Stoptech started in 1999 and had to do the same, with a much smaller internet.

I'm all for a little healthy competition. The Sparta prices are very attractive.
