Spare Tire options
I am going to run snow tires on my new X5 for winter that are non-run flat. So I am thinking of a spare tire and jack.
I have found the BimmerZone option. Seem a little expensive for the full set (spare, jack, storage tray). I can't seem to find anything directly from BMW. Has anyone purchased the BimmerZone options or had success with something else? |

I purchased mine from Bimmerzone with the jack kit. When I ditched the RFT's on my 535, I just got the spare. Sourced the jack from an online BMW dealer (don't remember which one). Then all you need is a 1/2" breaker bar and a (I think) 17mm socket.
Assuming you don't have the 3rd row seat, the spare fits perfectly. The blue thing in my picture is the snow/ice scraper.
