Hi guys
I noticed that my trunk gasket (rubber seal) near the dip rail is not fit properly and loose.

In the red circle, the rubber is not flush (got a big bump) with the body like another side and make the dip rail wont fit well (misshape and some gaps)

I inspected it and saw some small stains in rubber groove which i guess they were glue or silicone.

Took it to dealer and they fix it with some sort of glue but not so good.
Now it's tight but not flush still.

Yesterday took it in again for service but forgot to mention the issue to dealer so I take this chance to ask you guys the advices before talking to SA who seem to know nothing.

Do they need glue or silicone to install it?
What is white stain?
How to fix it?

PS. Sorry image is it mine. Car is in dealer and forgot to take actual pics.

Best regards,

Is it leaking water or visible outside with trunk closed?

Havent seen water yet but leaves and debis.

There are gaps since dip rail and gasket not flush.

When i wash the car I had to remove dip rail to get rid of leaves and debis stuck inside.
