Code U1118

Hello tried to search but no definite answer. I was changing my steering wheel trim without removing airbags. I turned the car on after to make sure all the steering wheel controls are functional. Check engine light showed and I pulled the code showing U1118. I cleared it and drove around and the car is fine. Anybody has an idea in what U1118 is? Thanks.

Is it just me, or is this very unclear information. Looks like it gives 4 different reasons for the code...

Yup, it sure is unclear but I figure at this point it's up to OP to do some detective work if it's worth it to him/her.

Yeah same link showed when I googled it. It's very confusing and doesn't make any utter sense. So far I cleared it and it hasn't come back.
