Not a bad price. I will say that I get the same from my local shop for $125.62 + labor/tax, however.

Mine is $211.98 (it is literally at the shop right now for this oil change plus some other things I'm taking care of, so the price is exact haha). This includes the oil, the oil filter, the labor and disposal, AND Blackstone oil analysis with shipping.

I don't think you read my whole post... There's a bit more than labor involved on that price. The price they gave me is generally what most shops charge without Blackstone analysis.

That's a good price if you want the analysis!

I did your car is 2011 and blackstone analysis doesn't help for RB and if you do your oil changes every 6-7K miles blackstone is useless..

I'm not sure I follow? Measuring copper levels during an oil change could surely help anticipate possible bearing issues. 2011 shouldn't have an impact on that (right?). I've seen failures on 2011+. Regardless, the Blackstone analysis was an add-on requested by me. I'd be well below that $200 mark without.

Anyway! Thanks again for the link on the good deal. Solid deal indeed

The bearing material was changed in 2011 to a combo of tin and aluminum, so you won't see any increased lead or copper from bearing wear in a Blackstone report. And ones again if you are doing an oil change about every 5-6K miles "BLACKSTONE ANALYSIS IS USELESS".

That website kinda looks like an ECS or Turner ripoff, oddly.

Same here. Just under $200 at my local shop. I used to enjoy changing it myself and saving a few bucks, but the novelty wore off... or I'm just lazy
