New m3 Steering wheel

What you guys think of this wheel? Getting a very good price on it. And my car is Alpine white with red interior.

This.

Wrap is not as tidy as others out there.

Also not a big fan of the alcantara trim piece, vs the OEM plastic. I'm a big fan of alcantara steering wheels though.

I think this is the one from ebay( at least the picture from ebay seller), seller from ukrania. I bought from him before( a month ago ), he sent me wrong wheels 2 times and let me keep the second wheels, quality is not good at all but hey you pay just 275$ But still i wouldn’t install it on my car.

That is likely ebay wheel. Quality will be lacking. To me the steering wheel is far too important of a piece to skimp on.

Well the wheel was 320 shipped. The wheel in the pic is non DCT he is still in the process of finishing my DCT wheel. Will post pics when i get it.

As far a s quality i read some reviews about his wheels and the reviews are not bad at all. Will update when i get the wheel.

I just can't get into alcantara on a steering wheel. Lots of people like it, but I do not. That's why I bought a new stock M3 wheel. Love the feel of the stock one...

Mines about 15-20k miles, I always wear gloves, had it for more than 2 years and only had to clean it once when I first received it, $150 was not bad

Daily driving with gloves? I hope you leave the wife/girlfriend at home. You could just wash your hands and use a suede/alcantara cleaner so as to avoid looking like a mega doucher. 6 months into having my coby wheel, and with proper maintenance it looks like new. And that includes 4 track days and 1 autocross.

Meh... rather have my hands touch something nice before/after work before wiping ass/blood/guts all day at work

I like things that don’t require too much work to maintain while doing something preventative

Never understood the desire for an alcantara steering wheel either. I don't think it feels as good as leather and requires much more maintenance to keep it from looking like garbage in short order.

So is it just for looks then since you don't even get to feel the material?

Definitely a personal taste preference here. Since there is zero alcantara/suede anywhere else in these cars, an alcantara wheel looks very out of place to me. However, if you're running the BMW Performance seats and have other alcantara bits to match, then it becomes a different story.
