Depends on how committed you are to keeping it clean. If you don't give a shit, take your pick....if you like to have a clean looking car without a lot of hassle, SSII (or AW - so what if I am biased).

if you don't have time to keep it clean, then go for SSII. if you have time to wash it every week, go for Jerez because it looks very SHARP!

Sedans look better in dark colors! I had a Jet Blk sedan and now have a Jerez coupe...you will regret SSII as it has too much baby blue tint in the paint...plus there are TONS of SSII sedans out...is that what you want? Think about it.

I've yet to see a M3 around my area, let alone a M3 in SSII. Don't listen to this kind of advice, buy what looks good for YOU.

I agree. I'm not a fan of baby blue silver. Titanium silver was a better color. |

Once you've owned black you'll never go back.
You clean it after each drive and before the next due to the dust. And if you're going to keep it for years you'll end up losing the swirl battle. Black looks great but never again.

FInally got to see SSii sedan and Jerez sedan in the same lot under sun. I compared the tow for quite some time
I have to admit Jerez looks so sporty and agressive. IMHO The Ssii on the coupe looked great but on the sedan Jerez shows enough details making the sedan looks sporty and agressive The rear veiw on the sedan for some reason looks just right on the Jerez where as on the SSii it looked unattractive, I can't belive color can make such a difference Both cars were dirty but Jerez upon close inspection shows more dust but from a distance Jerez still looks hot |

I was debating the same two colors. I ended up going with Jerez, typically i don't like black on cars, but in some lights Jerez looks like a very dark blue. Just a more interesting color in my opinion. That being said, there's no question it will be much harder to maintain.

They're both great colors on the sedan. If you can keep it clean or don't care if it is dirty, then JB will work. I liked them both but went with SSII because the swirls would drive me crazy.

Hand wash once or twice a week and dry with microfiber towels...two...one soaks up the water one to finish. After 11K miles on my Jet Black 330i no swirls using this method.
