I told that to my wife and now I'm living under a bridge....

All kidding aside, I know what you mean. You get hooked on the adrenaline rush of something new, something exciting. Similar to what addicts feel.
You just gotta take a step back and enjoy the now and be thankful that a group of engineers allowed you to enjoy this BMW dream machine.

Trade cars with me for a week or two, and then see if you still have that feeling after.

It's normal human nature, we always want more.

Don't have an //M car, finally get an //M car, now looking for the next upgrade or how you can get 650+ whp.

It's a never ending cycle so long as you have the necessary income/money in the bank to support such a cycle.

Nothing special or rare here, it's basically in our DNA.

I still love my M4 but every three days, I am thinking about getting GTR, Carrera S, 991 Turbo, R8, or even used M4 GTS.
And while typing this, I just thought about getting used 458.......somebody help me

I'm afraid of all of this ^ also, lol... question tho- is it even worth doing pure snails knowing it you'll be in the same position shortly after? What gain are you anticipating with them?

718/S or all you need is the 911(these base models have gotten that good as is), and I'd be done. As far as electric, that's a different ball game, but I'll still take a petrol 6 cylinder over a blender any day.

At that point (or all points really) its just a D measuring tool. I'm not going to drag race but would love bragging rights. I'm planning to get wider tires out back so I can hold onto the track better but pushing to 600 ish whp is just things dreams are made of. I think its mostly the "I've never had, so I want" mentality. I graduated college and bought the wrx, first fast car I've owned so thats where this craziness started. Sky's the limit nowadays (or wallet really) lol

You're not alone. I started thinking what's next right away. Full disclosure, I had my 340i M Sport only 3 months before I decided to trade it for the M3. I've been in it for almost 2 years now, and one thing that I can say that really made me appreciate it more. It was the 2 Day M School.

What's that old saying: It's not what you drive, but how you drive it?

The M School is where I really got to see where the limits of this car is. WOW, it's truly an amazing work of engineering. It's not perfect, there are faster cars out there... but unless you really know how do drive it, you are NOT unlocking what this car can do. An unskilled driver will be just as inept in a 911 GT3 as they are in a M3. This is why a skilled driver can be faster around the track and have more fun in an MX-5 than a GT-R. Take a high performance driving school if you haven't already. Got money to burn? The 2 Day M School is only $4k and totally worth it IMHO. I found out that I wasn't bored of the car... I was just bored of my limited skill level.

$1200 isn't bad at all. Only a few hundred more than an F80?

I love my M3 that I got just March of this year. All the haters really have me have second thoughts though, but have to take it w/ a grain of salt because most people bashing the F80 probably never have been in one.

I HAVE been bit by the Porsche bug but I need to keep this saying in my head. I'm not driving the car anywhere near its potential so there's still a lot of enjoyment I haven't got out of the car yet.

I see another one for around that much. Definitely a good deal. Now that I have an i3 as a daily, I can go coupe on my next weekend car. The AMG GT, Maseratti GT, and Porsche are all on my list.

I get that with a lot of things, but im still in love with my F80 like I the day I picked it up from the dealer. First thing I think about when I wake up is driving my car. Maybe its just me.
