Tell them to go be poor somewhere else. It's in vogue to dislike everything new.
Its like watching someone from the 1930s Ford world shit talk an 03 Cobra. Fucking hilarious. TELL THEM TO BE POOR ELSEWHERE. |

The majority of the commenters probably have not driven an F80/82

The are the same assholes that will be in one when the GXX M3/4 come out because they couldn't jump on the train when they were new.

The funny thing is the F80 doesn't sound bad in the video...
Nevertheless, arguing opinions is useless. I'll go out on a limb and say the G chassis M3 will be the best one overall when it comes out.

I'm noticing a trend where the initial press release dictates the overall sentiment towards a car.
A lot of casual enthusiasts will base their opinions based on what other people think of the car, its just the way it is. |

It's YouTube. Most comments are offensive, stupid, or straight up death threats. I never read the comments. Only decent videos are the ones that disable commenting.

That's why when I post a video on YouTube, I have comments disabled. No time to read trolls' comments

Like someone else said, it's yt, it's the anonymity of the internet. No blood, no foul.
My $.5, the F8X is hands down the best M car released to date. Best looking by a country mile. Fastest. Still gives you the option of a 6-speed stick. Excellent thread that nerds out as to how the F8X leads the M pack: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1012291 I especially fap over the rear subframe bolted directly to the body in white. Special motorsport sht AMG/RS whoever else can't touch in its class. Not bad for a chassis with humble commuter car beginnings.

It's YouTube....
You know how follow the leader works right? Not to mention they won't be able to afford it anyway so it isn't really a point.

This phenomenon of initial reviews dictating car impressions is real. I had a negative view of the F80, too big and steering too numb, sounds terrible, etc... Then I drove one and here I am. The M3 lineage is more about an idea than the means to that. They've only had the same engine type twice with the naturally aspirated I6 in the E36 and E46. They've come in all kinds of body styles, coupe, sedan, softtop and hardtop verts. Stick, slushbox, single and dual clutch automaniac...
