Alignment Issue/Question - Wheel out of spec

Looking for some help/direction from the suspension gurus around here.

Took the E92 in for regular alignment maintenance and all was OK except for passenger front at -2.7. Tech didn't see anything out of the norm and couldn't explain the issue.

Mods:
- Ohlins R&T
- GroundControl Camber Plates- Street

Per GC instructions the plates are set to the 'CL' mark meaning no additional camber is being introduced.

Centering Pin is in place and installed correctly.

I know the answer can be many items but I was hoping to hear about the top 5 causes of why this could happen and how I should go about correcting the issue.

Alignment sensors not properly aligned or your dampners aren't symmetrically seated into the knuckles would be my guess... this is in addition to variance in corner balance of the car due to the weight not being equally distributed (which also causes camber variation).

Many people find that they can't get height the same from side to side, myself included, and the reasons above are my suspicion. Additionally, in order to get my alignment's the same, my camber plates are not in the same position vs one another but they aren't significantly different.

I've actually had this happen to in the past. Had the car at the dealer multiple times, no issues found. I think its normal? It hasn't happened again in over a year so no clue.

I hear ya. What prompted this and bugs me is the excessive/gross inner tire wear i saw on the front tires.

the dealers answers was honest; short of just replacing parts ad-hoc we dont 'see' anything wrong but they the alignment measurements are in-fact off.

I have no camber plates and my front passenger camber is 0.3 degrees (-2.5) more than the driver's side (-2.2), center pins removed and struts pushed all the way in for max camber. Never figured out why it was.

Those alignment specs don't account for the weight of the driver although I highly doubt that it would cause a -1.0 degree change in camber.

I'd just make sure all of the bolts and nuts are tight. Check the strut tower to make sure the sheet metal isn't deformed. If nothing is bent, nothing to worry about.
