Had my M3 for couple weeks now. Figured I'd say hello.
Picked up my M3 about three weeks ago from a very professional used luxury car dealership and could not be happier with the car and the process. It's a 2009 with 63k miles, Jerez black, black interior, DCT, all the essential packages (except PDC ). I originally wanted to buy the car back in September/October, went to check it out but it was waaaay overpriced. I played the waiting game because I knew it wouldn't sell anywhere near that price. I kept my options open and just remained patient to find the right M3 instead of acting on impulse. Couple months go by and I stumble across the dealer dropping the price of the car each week and finally when it hit bluebook dealership price, I offered them an obvious low price I knew they wouldn't accept and we met in the middle then the deal was done.
Fast forward couple weeks of ownership and only about 100 miles put on the car and couldn't be happier. It's all stock except for B&G lowering springs. It doesn't even have tints which I really wanted in order to add my own combo. I am in school and have a daily driver but every single time I step into this beast of a car it just puts a smile on my face. I have even caught myself laughing because of how well it handles, fast it accelerates, and fun it is to drive. I'll upload some pictures soon but just wanted to say hello and I'm really excited to start putting some more time and money into this car. |

Congrats man. Couldn't agree more. The thing I love about the E92 is getting back in my E46 M. It makes me really appreciate the two different driving expierences you get from the two generations.

I'm trying to swoop an E46 myself. Have an 11 m3 and I want an E46 because I missed that boat by age/finances. Cool to hear a success story on an E92 purchase. It really is a great platform. Happy days ahead for you!

Thanks a lot to everyone. Hope you find one soon and enjoy the hell out of it. Just know you will find the right one, I almost settled for a couple others with higher milage but I knew in the back of my mind that they weren't the ones and I would end up regretting waiting for a better combo/deal. But at the end of the day they all drive and perform the same. |

I sold my e46 M3 when I got my e92. It would be nice to have both.
