It's been a while but just recently picked up an M3 with 6spd manual for the wife.
Last time I was active on this board I had a 330. But I wanted to share my wife's new ride. It's an early birthday present for her (May) and she's always wanted an M3. She's a car girl and has always supported my car ADD and totally deserving of this after years of driving family haulers.
We swung by Riverside BMW last night to check out their inventory and after some back and forth and finding out they had a mineral grey M3 with a manual it made a lot of sense. She's is absolutely smitten with the car and I don't blame her. I'm a Porsche guy and have to admit it's a real blast to drive rowing then gears. Anyway enough talk you came for the pic. Her plans are springs as it comes with the competition package so she doesn't want to fuss with that (I don't blame her). Maybe do the resonator delete with a cross over pipe and then wheels. I already hardwired her V1 because she's got a heavy right foot We'll be visiting our friend Eric over at supreme power real soon. 2018 F80 M3 Executive package M competition package Active blind spot 6 speed manual Last edited by foofighter; 04-08-2018 at 09:20 PM.. |

Love it, but I'm biased.
Cool wife. Mine drives a MT Z4M coupe, so cut from the same cloth.

Nice! We thought awfully hard about ordering one of the last F80s for my wife in Sakhir/Sakir or Silverstone, ZCP, 6MT. This might literally be the last M3 available with a 6MT (or a non-torque-converter auto trans too!). The thought was either that or pay up for Imola Red.
That all changed this week -- she put a deposit down, #3 on the list, for the M2 Competition. Not much color choice there, so it will be LBB or Sunset Orange. 6MT of course. Perhaps the last of the 6MT reasonable sized fun BMWs to be made that is still RWD based. Enjoy the 6MT M3. This era will be looked back on in the future as the pinnacle of enjoyable automobiles with cars like the F80 M3 6MT carrying that torch.
