Naviplus for Android Auto retrofit

Hi everyone,
Anyone have any experience with the following:

I have a 2014 X5 50i that I'd really like to get Android Auto for and this seems like the only option.

I don't have any experience with that at all, but I did see this direct replacement for it. it's around the same price as what you are looking at, but you replace the unit itself.

Again, I don't have this but it's something I saw while browsing. I will consider getting this in the future though
