Yep...That is exactly how it came out. Because the bottom portion has a thick tab. Thanks again for answering my stupid questions. I felt like an idiot asking but I would rather ask than have to replace the cover.

Still useful 3 years later. I received a fix-it ticket and need to put a front license plate on the car. I am going to use the tow hook license plate bracket and was in the middle of searching for a rubber tipped screwdriver when I came upon this post. Thanks!

I was having trouble removing one stuck on the side of the road in the snow a couple years back and I broke the POS in half without damaging the bumper. Got a new one and a favorite body shop painted it for free when they were doing another car of the same color
