Discount on 2018 X5 Diesel?

Hi all-

I'm looking at a new 2018 X5 Diesel for my wife. MSRP is $71,000 and it's an in stock vehicle. What kind of discount can one expect with the new generation X5 around the corner? Thanks in advance.

I bought one at the beginning of the year and the discount was more than 10k off MSRP. I thought it was good deal. I am in the DC/NoVA area, and there are a lot of BMW dealers here.

Was your vehicle a 2018?

Here in the UK, a 2018 X5 at full retail price will lose around £20k the minute it leaves the dealer.

I thought I got a good deal on mine, which was £26000 less than new when it was 6 months old, but another 6 months down the line and it’s lost another £6000.

That’s a hell of a lot of money to lose in the first year.
