Intercooler
Has anyone upgraded the intercooler on their f15 35i?
If yes, what model did you go with? Thanks and appreciate the response. |

They won't fit!
the intercoolers for the 3/4 series are interchangeable with pretty much any n54/n20/n26/n55 except for the X5 and I would assume the X6 as well. everyone just assumes that the 3/4 series aftermarket intercoolers will fit but won't spend the money on them because the x5s already have larger intercoolers. that is correct they have larger intercoolers than the most other bmws, however the oem ic was a decent bit smaller than the Active Autowerke intercooler I attempted to install on my x5. the main problem is that the oem one is 1' wider than the aftermarket (AA), even though the AA is bigger in every other aspect. Am I the only one that has attempted to do the install?? |
