Interior Ambient Lighting - Passenger Door Light Not Working?
Apologies in advance if this has been asked but my searches didn't turn up with anything helpful.
Recently picked up an E92 M3 and all of the lights for my interior ambient lighting are functioning as they should except for the passenger side door panel, which isn't lit up the entire length of the door. Is there a connector or fuse that I can check is good, or this a bigger (more expensive problem)? Worst case it appears to be a replaceable part on RealOEM (#3/5) but would this require door panel removal?

There is a single LED at the front of the strip. If it's not working its most likely that the connector is loose or whoever was in the door last forgot to reconnect it. Check that first. If there's power at the connector then the LED is defective and you'll need a new light strip.

Just to update the thread, took the door panel off and discovered the clear plastic strip was cracked about 1/4" from the LED at the front, so there was a separation in the strip not allowing the entire length to illuminate.
Previous owner must've known because the light was also unplugged, but I plugged it in and it lit right up. I ended up just "connecting" the two ends of the plastic strip and keeping tension on it using foil tape. Seems to work no problem while the car is stationary not we'll see if it holds up. If not it looks super simple to replace and not too expensive. Thanks to deansbimmer for the quick response and help!
