X5 shuts off after start and changing gear to R
When the car is cranked and transmission is moved reverse quickly (before the RPM starts to drop from initial crank) vehicle sometimes shuts off. Message on iDrive pops-up saying transmission is not in park.
Did anyone of you encountered this? Other than waiting one more second to change the gear, any solutions? Thank you. |

My X5 35i has started doing doing this occasionally. Other than waiting for the idle to settle a few seconds after cold start, has anyone else found a solution to this stalling when immediately shifting into reverse? Thanks!
