Thumbs up Buying suggestion

I am new to bimmer world! Trying to get my first BMW.
I am considering X5.
Most importantly, with 2019 redesigned, what will be the depreciation hit for the old models? Is it suggested to buy 2018 models? I would like to keep car at-least 10 yrs [hopefully..lol]... very confused... any inputs greatly appreciated

However, I went into market and researched for the below two options.

Are these good deals?

2018 x5 4k miles loaner: 59k
atlas cedar/black
drivers assistance
parking assistance
luxury seating
3rd row
heated steering
hk sound
premium pkg
wireless charging

2016 x5 30k miles: 46k
space gray/mocha
drivers assistance
parking assistance
m sport package
luxury seating
3rd row
heated steering
hk sound
premium pkg

Thanks a lot in advance!

I thought about the depreciation hit too, however, that's at least partially offset by the deals being given. It might mean a few extra grand in the first year but I don't see the bottom falling out.

I think you can probably push them a bit more on price like I did.

Do you mind sharing details on your deal?

They are solid on the pricing..figuring out how I can get them lower on price

The initial price was lower (57.9) and they applied some sort of bmw driven dealer discount of 2.5 and then a little more. I would use them as a benchmark (Bill Jacobs out of Naperville) to try and hammer your guys down. They still have a decent amount of courtesy cars in inventory so you should be able to find a good benchmark.
