In theory, might be possible. In practicality impossible.

Basically the dealer is the only way for you to reliably get a key ordered tied to your VIN. It has to be cut in factory and programmed. No dealer will take a pre cut key and program/activate it based on my discussion with them or take a preprogrammed key from eBay and cut it.

I tried the Ebay route and self programming, the dealer wanted nothing to do with it. Best bet is to find a dealer that wont rob you... good luck!

I don’t think it’s possible to reprogram old keys from another car.

And new keys are I think $300 from the dealer. Contrary to what some dealers will tell you, these keys come programmed from the factory and the only thing done at the dealer is to pair them. You do that by first using your existing key to start the car up, then hold your new key next to that key logo located on the side of your steering column.

It might be extra to get the laser cut part of the key, maybe you can get cut by a third party shop since the transponder is in the remote part.
