Not really. Snows was reported (by another member) to be getting a brand new car after his engine took a dump. But he has gone AWOL and never come back to the forum to confirm anything or give any details. It may be that it is part of the deal he made, but still I think a lot of people are wondering where he is. In fact, some people are probably wondering if anything he ever said was real to begin with.

Yes and I am having the exact issue as he is and am dealing with the dealership right now. I can understand if he signed an agreement but all I am looking for is the dealership where he took his car to help my dealership determine whether it is the same issue. Otherwise, I am going to be stuck in limbo. And I think SnowM3 should do what he can w/in his contract to help as we all tried to help him through his ordeal.

I really wouldn't be surprised if he's not supposed to blab about the car. BMW probably wants to diagnose the problem before a flood of people take their car in for the exact same noise.
I smell a TSB coming soon.
