Thin plastic stuck between rear bumper and fender

Hello All,

Question for the experts, noticed this little fella sticking out, any way to cut or someone might know what it is? It's like a piece of thin plastic sticking out the edge of the rear bumper

It looks like plastic wrap used to protect during shipping. Have you tried pulling it with tweezers or foreceps? It should come out fairly easy.

If it's clear, it's the one that was sticked permanently inside upper panel

Your rear bumper or panel were repainted before?

Its edge might just peel off and you can just leave it.

I don't think it's been re painted and it's not the paint peeling off, it's like a thin plastic from inside I was trying to get it out but the plastic it's super hard, I'll check with a tooth pick

Forget that, this would irritate the hell out of me. It would be like going to the dentist and them put a clear piece of plastic between my teeth that hangs out. No way I'd just leave it there.

You could use a scalpel to cut away the visible part if that bothers you but be careful with the paint. Did you buy this car new? I think that some work was done on the bumper, could have been done to close a small gap.

I think the plastic when they paint or re spray a panel is super thin like the one they sell at Home Depot, but this thing it's like hard plastic it was like thick as plastic trash bag lol, it was really hard for me to get it out with the eye brow pliers
