2018 F15 & F85 Anti-Dazzle / Auto-Dimming Mirrors...

Are all 2018 X5 or X5M equipped with only Driver's side dimming mirror? Is the second passenger side mirror part of another package or just removed as an option/function from 2018?

I remember someone bringing this up trying to replace their passenger with the dimming one. I think they changed it to only driver side at some point but I think the guy just bought the dimmable one and it was plug and play. At least he didn't mention coding.

I think they stopped using the auto-dimming passenger mirror MY2017.

My car has all options and packages except the night vision and the right side mirror is not dimming.

2018? The 2017 X5M and the 2016 50i I owned both had auto-dim mirrors on both sides.

my e63 wagon doesnt have it on the passenger side either. retrofit is possible but not sure it's worth it.

Penny savings by BMW. All the newer BMW are like that.
G30 and F90 for sure. Didn't pay attention on the other G Chassis.

Wild that they would do this on the last year of a model that is built on the architecture going back to the e70.

They may have run out of dimming right mirrors for the last couple of production lines and not bothered as the end of production was approaching.

Found it easier to code the auto-dimming exterior mirrors off for the sake of symmetry than figuring out a way to enable the passenger side. If anyone on here has better luck or success getting this going please post.
