No Launch Control after 1200 mile service?
So I took my DCT in for the 1200 mile service yesterday and decided to give the Launch Control a whirl after getting it back. I troll around for a while to make sure the engines gets warm and experience some higher RPM shifting. When I finally decided to try the LC, I could not get it to initiate. I had the manual out and read it about 4 times making sure I had all of the settings right. I tried for about 30 minutes but nothing. I am assuming the dealer did not unlock the feature. Has anyone else had this problem?
When I go to the M Drive settings, the S 6 option is still greyed out. But when I turn the DSC OFF, I get the 6th bar option in S mode in the cluster screen. So I can get to S 6 that way, but not through the M Button. My SA and I specifically talked about LC now being unlocked when he handed me my keys, but maybe someone forgot to flip the switch??? |

LC unlocks itself after 1250 miles. No intervention is needed. You have to have your M button settings configured correctly to access launch control through the steering wheel button. Have DSC completely off and the transmission in S6 mode. At a complete stop, push the shift lever forward and hold it until the flag pops up on the dash. Floor the accelerator & release the shift lever when you're ready to go.

Go back to dealer and tell them. THey probably messed up and forgot to unlock it.
**On a side note, i just tried LC for the first time yesterday, and it blew me away....No words can describe it.
