So after A LONG mental battle with myself. i found a car i could not resist. A
2018 M4 competition. Yas Marina Blue, 9k miles. MPE, full leather, exec package, HK sound system, HOD, driving package, H&R lowering springs. maybe some other stuff i forget. So many people told me to never give up my E92 M3 competition, and it was not easy. i was close to buying a ZL1, but i just could not give up BMW. i love the looks the style the feel, hard to beat. I was looking for an M3, i really wanted the 4door, but after driving this one and seeing this color in person i wanted it bad. i read a lot of background on the M4/M3 F8X, and after driving the new one, im in love. what a great sports car. i really liked my v8 e92, it was hard to let go, if i could have kept both i would have, but it had to go so i could get the new one. The exhaust sound, the boost, the torque ( boy how i missed torque ) , the technology , the interior, just a superior car to the 2013 E92, by far. Enough of the BS, here are some pics... Congrats on the new ride! I hear ya on letting the V8 naturally aspirated E92 go, But your MPE should help ease the pain a little.
And looks like you got an M shirt thrown in with the deal

Yes sir, and a gorgeous color as well!
YMB in person just takes the cake. I cannot take a drive anywhere without multiple compliments from random strangers about the color, it really sets it apart from everything on the road. Enjoy!! |

loved my e92 m3, even did the rod bearings thinking I would keep it, but the f80 m3 prices def fell to the point that I couldn't resist and did the same switch a few months ago. Say hello to torque again

For sure. I missed having a turbo charged torque monster . I had a 425hp Subaru Sti. So after getting the E92 i missed the boost/torque Glad to be back w some torque. If my M4 lives up to the same reliability as my E92 ill be very happy.

Congrats!! The f8x platform is a great platform in my opinion. I had an e90 before jumping into the f80, and I don't miss the e90 at all. But again, many will argue that the e9x platform was far more superior. :
Enjoy your new ride in good health.
