Anyone buy a pre-painted Euro bumper from IND?

i have one on order (space gray) and I am hoping for a perfect color match. I do not want to have to spray anything on the car for proper blend.

just curious of personal experiences, i've heard both great and not so great.... but all 2nd hand info.

thanks!

Blending would matter on the condition of your paint.

How much and where did you get it? I heard the fitment is spot on. The underside of my bumper has some mishaps form the older previous owner of my car. Let us know how it looks and fits. I'm considering this as a possible replacement for mine as I have low miles and the paint is in excellent shape overall.

How much and where did you order it? I heard fitment is spot on for the most part and am considering this for replacement for my bumper. I have some scraps on the underside from the proofs owner that I'd like to take care of with a new bumper. Let us know how the pant matches up.

i ordered BMW Euro OEM from IND, painted by them. fingers crossed for a perfect match.

i just can't live with the 2 drilled license plates holes and minor scratches from the license plate frame. I put painted bumper plugs in it and they help but i'm too OCD over it now.

if the IND bumper isn't a perfect match I'll need to decide which direction to go.... really wanted to avoid any spray/blending on the hood and front quarters if at all possible.

i'll hopefully have it in a few weeks and will post an update.

I just received mine after waiting 4 months and will get it painted locally to ensure a perfect match. IND would have probably gotten it to me much sooner as they did with the OEM GTS spoiler I ordered from them. Ryan and the team are a good group for sure! Just ordered a key hole cover and FC poster from them.

I ordered the bmw euro bumper from ind painted Jerez black for my e90 M3 a couple years ago. Paint match was spot on! It matched perfect. Was very happy with the results. Ind did a top notch job and it was packed extremely well so no damage occurred during shipping! And since the euro bumper was Oem part figment was perfect!

I also ordered a painted euro bumper in Jerez from IND. No complaints and pretty much a perfect match. Too bad it got sand blasted at COTA a few weeks after

Also bought one in Jerez, had it shipped to a local body shop for installation. Great packing and perfect color match, no complaints.

Space gray is very difficult to match FYI, if the paint on your car is not in perfect condition it won’t be the same.

I'll chime in! I have plans to do exactly this, however I am on the fence about having it painted by IND or having it painted locally. My car is in fantastic condition, never parked outside for more then a few hours at a time ever in its life! I'll probably just order from IND painted and ship directly to my body shop

Another option is to filll the reflector openings and respray your US bumper. Indistiguishable from an actual Euro or Euro rep. I had it done after somebody stabbed a hole with what appeared to be a trailer hitch. Came out perfect, $400. I did the same to my silbergrau e46M.

Not a BMW bumper from IND, but when I had my Camaro I bought a painted Camaro bumper from "the Chevy dealer" everyone buys their parts from online.

It was such the biggest pain in the ass.

They sent a bumper with tons of dust under the paint and it clearly was packaged poorly and rubbed against the the inside of the box during its trip.

I emailed them provided proof, they shipped me another one. Did not require the first.

The second one arrived way better than the first, but honestly not 100%.

This all took like 2 months back and forth. Oddly enough I did not have to pay for it until months later.

It was like $300 for the bumper and $300 for the paint job. So I got a $300 paint job, all on me right?

Basically, I am trying to say only buy painted parts in person.

Good idea.. but I have a huge scrape on the bottom right side of my bumper too so I would need a full bumper respray so I want to make the move that makes the most financial sense

Financial sense? Here's how two M's turned out getting the "Euro look" done locally. It took searching to keep the cost down (the place with all the Porsches wanted $1600 for the e92...absurd). For under $400, both shops removed the bumper, filled the reflector openings, and repaired all damage before a full respray. Guaranteed OEM fitment!

For under 400 for all of that? Not sure that figure exists in SoCal unless it's a botched job

I got the OEM Euro bumper last year in Alpine White and it was a perfect match. I thought they did such a good job, I also ordered new side skirts and they painted them AW too.
