Question Ceramic Brake Pads

I have had AKEBONO on my current and previous 7 Series and they are EXCELLENT!!! I can't seem to find them for the FRONT of my car (xDrive50i M Sport) though. Just Rears: # EUR919

What are you guys using?

I have found Ceramic Pad Sets from:

Centric
Power Stop
Hawk
Wagner
Bosch

Which ones are BEST of the above???

I run Powerstop on my X5M set-up and they work great for me, low dust and good braking.

Not from the list above but I use brembo ceramics pads in my x5m converted brakes, very low dusting and bites hard once the pad and rotors warms up which doesn’t take much to do in summer time.

Hey guys. Those of you who replied and installed aftermarket pads... Did you use the sensors from the car or did the new pads come with/need new sensors?

Be very careful and take your time removing the connections to the old censors and re-use. At least that is what I did without issue.

As long your brakes didn't grind the sensor should be fine to reuse just give it a good clean and re insert into new pad.

*UPDATE*

I've had the Brembo Ceramic Pads on well over a month. And although less dusting than OEM, they are FAR from better than AKEBONO which I have ran multiple sets on different cars including my current F01.
These Brembo have good bite and feel damn near like factory pads. No squealing or sounds Thank Goodness! But again, if you have ran Akebono for any length of time, you instantly become a fan! I spoke with them directly and unfortunately they do not make the front pads for the xDrive50i M Sport nor have plans to do so FYI.

Just wanted to update for anyone like me, who desperately wanted a "great option" for far less dusting pads that still perform.
The Brembo Ceramic I bought and installed were barely better than factory! So do NOT waste your money.
I recently installed Powersop Evolution Ceramic pads and they are FANTASTIC! As good as the Akebono Euro Ceramics that I've ran on several cars. Unfortunately Akebono doesn't make the fronts for xDrive50i M Sport.
If you are tired of all the foking black dust gunking up your wheels, without sacrificing braking performance, you want these ASAP.

Amazon. Very reasonable price too. And if you Google these particular brajes, they get really good reviews.

Our x35i came to us with some Bosch (?) ceramic pads on the car. I replaced the pads and rotors with OE and Zimmerman respectively.

I have to say that time and time again I keep coming back to OE genuine BMW pads. The feel is just so much better than others that I’ve tried. I don’t actually feel they dust that much more, either. Maybe I’m just scarred by the previous gen of BMW pads that out off much more dust than the current generation?

Anyway, food for thought. Ceramic always seems to sacrifice some performance in me experience.

These power stop sound interesting tho - appreciate the tips!

I guess I just don’t understand why manufacturers wouldn’t just use these then?
