Satellite radio timeshift on unlocking

How do I code a longer operating time so that I can use the timeshift to have more stored radio time when I get in my car in the morning? I only get 5 minutes of time if I'm lucky.

Interesting. Timeshift only works on the current station you are playing, anytime you switch stations you lose all the info from the previous station and you don't get it back when you switch back. But 5mins is ridiculously short and never heard of so little time.

What I meant was, before I get in the car in the morning I'll unlock the door's five minutes before I get in to start the time shift for the current satellite station I want to listen to. If I wait too long it shuts off again. Sometimes I can click every five minutes to increase the memory and length of time recorded for that station. And sometimes it just goes to zero time if not properly pressed. But I would rather click it once a half an hour before I get in so that I could skip commercials during my trip.

Ah, you are looking to extend the time of your "Radio Ready State" or "Ignition On" before the car is started.
