Car seats and strollers in the F80?

Thinking about an F80 M3 for a nice weekend car for the fam, date night etc. I am sure this has been discussed before, but does anyone have a good threads on how much room there is in the backseats for toddler car seats, and adults comfortably, and also strollers in the trunk?

I am assuming they are more than fine, but just wanted to check and hear peoples thoughts.

Rear facing seats will decrease front passenger leg room quite a bit if they’re over six feet tall. Will be ok around town but not on long trips.

No idea on the seats but I have a stroller for my french bulldog and it fits just fine in the trunk. Does take up a good chunk though.

I have a 5 and 7 year olds that I drive regularly in the car. Current threads weren’t super useful.

Most convertible seats will fit just fine facing forward for toddlers. I had 2 super wide click-tight Britax without issues. If your little ones are very young the rear facing convertible will eat up a lot of room and I don’t have much to add here on that - but I am sure it’s doable.

Issue I ran into is with the booster (+backrest) seat for my 7 year old that uses the seatbelt. The F80 seatbelt buckle position requires a very narrow base otherwise the normal width seat bases will cover up where you are supposed to buckle in.

This one worked great for me: Chicco KidFit https://www.target.com/p/chicco-174-...50#lnk=sametab

This one did not, so I moved it to the X3 where it’s fine: Graco Affix. https://www.target.com/p/graco-affix...63#lnk=sametab

I have a convertible rear facing in the center of the back seat for my one year old that's rear facing. Plenty of room.

F80 is a piece of cake. No problems at all! I have a rear facing and front facing with a massive stroller in the back.

Now I'm convincing my wife to go for F82.

Let's see.

Just piling on, but it's got plenty of room in the back for car seats, and plenty of room in the trunk. It's not big enough to fit a double stroller, go shopping for the day, and easily fit a few other large items, but as a practical car it works pretty good. Not to mention the kids will love it. My 5 & 4 year old always ask to ride in it, and my 18 month old goes to the door to my garage and bangs on it wanting to ride. Strangely enough they don't do that for the minivan...

Plenty of room in the back of an F82 and the boot space is fine - so go for it!

I did take my two eldest boys to the dealership a couple of weeks before I ordered my F82 in March this year, to check they fit in ok with decent leg room (one's 17 years and 5' 10") and there's plenty of room in the two rear seats.

In fact there is definitely more rear leg room in the F82 than my last car, a 2016 F10 5 Series

I also have no problem with my 7 year old in the back, who has a wide-ish booster seat

I have an 18 month and 4 year old - the M3 works a charm. It has a bigger boot than the Evoque the wife potters around in, if I put it in Comfort, no one complains about throttle or ride quality and I put on the kids radio they sing along. I can fit a bugaboo chameleon in the boot and a few bags/coats or I can take 4x small cases and a stroller for a week away.

I've got the little 'un in a rear facing seat positioned behind the passenger seat. My wife is 5'8 and has no leg room issues at all. Our 4-year old is front facing on a deluxe child seat and other than kicking my seat I have no problems either. She can even get in on her own easily and I'm 6'3 and don't compromise my driving position.

I did get the load area covered with PPF to prevent "pram injuries" however!
